Cancellation of tax sanctions

According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, from January 1, 2022, financial sanctions will not be applied for offenses identified as a result of a desk tax audit.

In addition, if business entities fail to submit tax reports within the established time frame, financial sanctions will also not be applied.

In addition, as an experiment, in January-July 2022, the tax authorities of the Khorezm region themselves will calculate and form tax reports on VAT, excise tax, turnover tax, land tax. The taxpayer will have the opportunity to review and approve the tax reports, or reject it in case of objections and submit the tax reports himself.
