Discussion about intellectual property objects

On October 12, the meeting was held to take measures to improve the system for the protection of intellectual property.

At the beginning of next year, it is planned to create a platform for industrial patents, as well as a database on intellectual property of enterprises and universities.

Furthermore, the need to streamline the issue of trademark registration by entrepreneurs was emphasized. Namely, the practice of registering trademarks identical to world brands has spread in Uzbekistan, which significantly worsens the growth of foreign investment.

In addition, copyright issues were discussed, particularly, ensuring the interests of authors when using their works for commercial purposes.
