The procedure for obtaining confirmation of the right to work in Uzbekistan has been postponed for some individuals

The regulation on the procedure for attracting and using foreign labor in the Republic of Uzbekistan has changed with the introduction of a very important detail for foreign enterprises and potential investors by adoption of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 08.01.2021 No. 5.

In particular, the list of persons to whom this Provision does not apply was set out in a new version, according to which the Provision does not apply to the founders of foreign and joint ventures operating or being established on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan, including the first directors (from the date of conclusion of employment contracts with them for the relevant positions), for a period of up to three months.
