The limit of exported foreign currency was increased

On 04.09.2023, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted Resolution No. 443 “On Amendments and additions to some decisions of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the improvement of the rules for declaring cash currency, as well as licensing the activities of a customs warehouse, a free warehouse, and a duty-free shop”.

The Resolution will enter into force on 06.12.2023.

With the entry into force of the Resolution, individuals, when exporting national cash currency and (or) cash foreign currency over 100 million soums, will be required to declare the amount by presenting it to an employee of the customs authority. At the same time, customs officials will be required to explain the rules for filling out the declaration.
