Registration of software programs and databases
The administrative regulations on the provision of public services for the official registration of computer programs and databases were approved by a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The Administrative Regulations provide for the following:
- The procedure for applying by a legal entity or individual (applicant) to the Ministry of Justice (authorized body) with a request for official registration of a computer program or database through the Central State Services Center, a special information system of the authorized body or the Unified Interactive Portal of State Services;
- Submission of an application for residents – through the center of public services, a special system of the authorized body, or a single interactive portal of public services, for non-residents – through a special information system of the authorized body (the application can also be submitted to the authorized body by mail).
- Carrying out all actions after applying a special information system of the authorized body
- The procedure for paying a patent fee in the amount established by the Law “On State Duty” when providing a state service
- The procedure and terms for checking application documents
- Automatic official registration of a program or database in the State Register of Software Products or the State Register of Databases and sending the applicant a certificate of its registration through a special information system of the authorized body.
