Tariff quotas for imported goods

In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers dated 02.12.21 No. 728, a regulatory measure is introduced, which provides for the application for a certain period of reduced rates of customs duties on the import of a certain amount of certain types of goods compared with the customs duty rate applied in most cases when importing (tariff quota).

The Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade, together with the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction and the Antimonopoly Committee, make proposals at least once a year on the introduction of tariff quotas for certain goods.

To apply the tariff quota, business entities will need to apply to the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade with an application.
