The procedure for payment of certain customs duties has been changed

To improve the process of passing state control at checkpoints across the State border of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted Resolution No. 210 dated April 17, 2024 “On Amendments and Additions to certain Government Resolutions”.

As a result of the changes made customs payments for customs escort can now be paid after escorting a vehicle, as well as payments for entry or passage of foreign vehicles into the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan will be accrued in the customs territory.

The ministries and departments concerned under the Customs Committee, together with the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, are tasked with making adjustments to their own regulatory legal acts in accordance with this Resolution within one month.

The deputy was appointed responsible for monitoring the implementation of this Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers. The Prime Minister is the Minister of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jamshid Anvarovich Kuchkarov.
