Azizov & Partners attended Investment Conference in Tashkent State University of Law

Senior partner Ilkhom Azizov was invited to participate in the Republican scientific-practical conference “New approaches in protection of rights and interests of investors in the Republic of Uzbekistan”, which held on May 15, 2019 at Tashkent State University of Law.

The main purpose of the conference was to discuss topical issues of investment policy aimed at increasing attractiveness of the investment environment, speeding up investment processes, attracting foreign and national investors, ensuring freedom and development of investment activities, strengthening its legal framework and protecting the rights and interests of investors in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Ilkhom Azizov as a representative of our law firm spoke on the topic “Institute of Alienation of Property for Public Needs and the Rights of Investors”.

The conference was attended by representatives of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Justice, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Institute for Problems of Legislation and Parliamentary Studies under the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Academy of the Prosecutor General The Republic of Uzbekistan, the Research Institute of Legal Policy at the Ministry of Justice, as well as professors of  Tashkent State University of Law.
