Export support

In order to support exporting enterprises, the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan was adopted, according to which a number of support measures were introduced.

In particular, 200 million US dollars was allocated for loans for trade operations related to exports and for pre-export financing.

In detail, from October 1, 2021, enterprises whose annual export volume exceeds 20 million US dollars will be allocated up to 5 million US dollars for a period of up to one year for loans. Also, enterprises that have exported finished textile products worth more than 1 million US dollars during the last twelve months are given the opportunity to defer or installment for 120 days the payment of customs duties without interest and the requirement to ensure payment for them, when importing raw materials and materials for production.

In addition, the application of penalties for overdue receivables on foreign trade operations is suspended until December 31, 2021, and sanctions imposed before the entry into force of this Decree will not be collected.

In addition, from October 1, 2021, a national certificate will not be required for the import of certified and declared equipment, components, raw materials, measuring and transport vehicles, chemicals and lifting mechanisms from countries with a high quality and control system.
